By far one of the BEST places I have EVER ate at... world wide!!The food was absolutely AMAZING.From appetizer to dinner to desert, all of it was over the top, DELICIOUS! From the minute we walked inside we were greeted with the sweetest and kindest staff members. The entire evening was simply PERFECT... even the prices are beyond phenomenal! I most DEFINITELY will be back again!! The whole atmosphere was just BEAUTIFUL. I'm already spreading the word to all my friends and family that, they MUST COME HERE!!THANK YOU Angelo's for such a great FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE. ❤️

The food here is very fresh and delicious. Always in the time pickup 15 minutes and delivery 30 minutes And always they have very good offers for the customers,so they can make you feel comfortable and happy.

This place is my favorite place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I want to go to a delicious lunch, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. good and varied food and a rich cuisine.trained staff, and pleasant atmosphere. Also, the price is reasonable. I tell about this spot with great pleasure.

Nice small BYOB restaurant with friendly attentive staff. Enjoyed their chicken souvlaki lunch special with fried zucchini too. The hummus they bring you was also good. Very good prices for the portion sizes. Would definitely recommend coming here!

OMG, so much food for a lunch Special. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. I picked up my order safely at the side door, (social distancing) style😃 Staff was very quick and friendly. A+++

This spot gives first-rate service as well as yummy menu. One of my favourite restaurants ever. The food and drinks served fast and the prices were affordable. I recommend this place.

Nice decor, although no booths it almost feels cozy. Seats about 50, although there is also patio seating. I arrived at 4.30 and was the only customer so service was not a problem. I had the meat moussaka with a Greek salad. Both were excellent. The moussaka was bursting with flavor (see photo). Tasted as good as it looks. I left feeling very full and satisfied.

This wonderful place is only up the street from my home!! The hospitality was amazing so welcoming!! My boyfriend and I sat outside it was 90 degrees but with the fans blowing and the wonderful food all the great smiles byob was the best <3 love this place and will certainly be back very romantic . NO ONE was outside with us ( to hot) Thank you everything was perfect TRY IT YOU WILL BE HOOKED !!!!! LOV IT

Food was ok the lamb in the gyro was salty, but that's just me..the 4th star is for the fries, I really liked the way they season them. Service was good, would prob go again and try something else

Very cute inside. Wanted to love it but didn't like the food. To me nothing tasted like I was accustomed to. I"ve had plenty of Greek food in the US and in Greece. Sorry to say this was my least favorite. They had plenty of customers who seem to be regulars, but I don't think any of them were Greek. What can I say, taste is a relative thing? You might like it.

I love this place. Amazing food and staff. Please if you come to eat here, leave your perfume at home. It's true that actually nobody wants to smell your perfume except for you. It is a close-quarters Eatery. The food smells are amazing.

GrubHub screwed up my order, but between myself and the wonderful staff at Angelo's, I was still able to get my food. I've been here previously for a birthday dinner. All of the staff is friendly, and their food is delicious. Their dining room for eat in is very nice as well. Perfect place for a birthday dinner or a date.

Great atmosphere with welcoming staff. I love the moussaka. Tried the pasta version of the dish and was very happy with my meal. Look forward to having dessert there perhaps my next visit.

We had recently returned from a 16 day vacation in Greece and we were looking for a restaurant that tasted authentic. Angelo's Greek Taverna completely met our craving for Greece. Delicious food and friendly service!!! Loved every bite!!

One of the best Greek restaurants. I have only done delivery with them and it's always fresh and delicious. I never had lemon chicken soup before and now its my favorite soup...only from Angelos. I have had their shish kebab, lamb chops, grilled octopus and even an artichoke dish. Everything was absolutely delicious. Next time I need to taste their fish. I highly recommend them!

Cozy place, nicely decorated. Service is usually friendly and attentive. Food is okay but really nothing notable. Best appetizers are the hot eggplant and the hummus. Best entrees are any of the kebab entrees. Best dessert is the rice pudding. Appetizer salads are very good. Stay away from the lamb shank (horrible, inedible). Tzatziki sauce is a disappointment, tastes like sour cream. Most everything else is decent. If you want better food, Taverna Mykonos in Elmwood Park is better, albeit pricier.

Clean and cozy place. The staff is made up of Stella, Shane (yea from that well known Western movie) and Marinald, they are highly attentive, cordial and provide service with a smile. Shane did an amazing job staying on top of our and other customers needs, e.g; filling our glasses, bringing extra napkins, etc.The food was superb. My wife got Lounakis with rice and grilled octopus. I had the day's special, the Lamb Shank. My lamb came with potatoes in an exquisite tomato sauce, it was so soft and moist it practically falls of the bone. I would have given 5 stars if my Lamb was a bit meatier and bigger.It was an exciting experience and we'll definitely come back again!

Good food, decent price. Great service.

Horrible customer service. We ordered food for pick up for 15 people and they gave us one meal short. When we called to complain, the manager decided to say that she never makes a mistake and that we were lying. Clearly, this establishment does not know anything about customer service. Why would a customer who just spent $160 on dinner lie about one meal? Please check your meals before you leave the establishment or then they will tell you you’re a liar. Or even better, just go to Taste of Greece in Riverside.

This place is great. I took my mom here for her birthday and she lives in NY. She said she would never eat NY gyro again. We loved the cleanliness, the food and the service. :)

The chicken lemon soup was very tasty. Crisp lemon taste is a nice contrast to the chicken. Meat was cooked perfectly on the main meal. Eat early when we left at 7 there was a long line out the door.
